Chris serves the community by volunteering to speak at organizations who want to have the complexities of health insurance explained and made understandable. She is an instructor at the Small Business Development Center, has given talks at NOCoNet and their Longmont affiliate, has spoken at e-women’s Network and a variety of other venues. Choice Plus Insurance is active in The National Association of Health Underwriters which is the professional association for health insurance agents. She has received the distinguished award of Leading Producers Roundtable, eagle level from that association. She has received recognition from Humana as a member of the Humana Leaders Club for several years. She was the chairperson of the Red Carpet Ambassadors committee of the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce for 2009, is a member of Women of Influence, a founding member of the Integra Insurance Group, and a member of Toastmasters 619 where she has received the designation of Competent Communicator. Chris is also a Certified Senior Advisor and Choice Plus Insurance is a member of the Better Business Bureau Online Reliability Program.
